Many Businesses Contributing to the Spread of Covid

I've been working at the same company for over 15 years, and they
don't care about me. It's a public business, and it continuously lets
unmasked people in. Legally, unmasked people can be refused
service, but they still receive it. They get service, and I feel like
I'm disposable in the eyes of my workplace.

Businesses are spreading Covid, and it's rarely mentioned, or not
mentioned at all. Many public places aren't protecting their workers.
Letting ANYONE in a place of business without a mask is wrong,
irresponsible, unethical, and it can be deadly!

Businesses need to be held accountable for the lives of their
employees and customers, or they should be closed down.

The Difference Between Glad Press'n Seal and Glad ClingWrap

I've been using Glad Press'n Seal for years, but when I couldn't find
it, I bought Glad Clingwrap out of desperation. If I could grade both
products I'd give the ClingWrap a C- and the Press'n Seal an A+.
Both of them can be used for hot or cold foods, and they are micro-
wave-safe and BPA-free, but that's where the similarities end.

The ClingWrap doesn't do much clinging when wrapping food unless
you use a lot of it. And when microwaving food the directions say to
allow at least one inch of space between ClingWrap and food.

The Press'n Seal does what the name says. You can press and seal
whatever you want with ease. And you only need just enough product
to slightly expand over the edges of your container, so you'll use less.
Press'n Seal won't seal on a cold container, and it's more expensive
than ClingWrap, but it's worth the price.

Give Your Mask a Trial Run

So you got a new mask...You put it on...You go out and it doesn't
fit well. You should've given your mask a trial run.

It's a good idea to wear any new mask around the house for a little
while, before you wear it out in public. You don't know what your
mask is gonna do once you add a little motion to it. Some masks
slip down, scrunch up on the face, or cling to the nose. Some are
uncomfortable, and some masks seem to fit until you have to talk.

The next time you get a new mask wear it around the house first,
so you won't be constantly adjusting it.

Five-Cent Refund

Who wouldn't want an unexpected check in the mail? But a check
for 5 cent is ridiculous! A stamp cost 55 cents. This check wasn't
worth the postage. The business that I overpaid called it a refund.
It would've made more sense to credit my account for a nickel.

Five-Cent Refund

I received a check in the mail
And it was a major fail
They called it a refund,
But I disagree
A laughable payment was sent to me
I'd rather get a credit to my account
Than a paper check for a small amount.

Which Ground Pepper Should You Use?

Most people know that ground black pepper is hot, but not too
hot. If you use a little it taste good, but if you use a lot it might
be too spicy. But have you ever tried ground white pepper, or
ground cayenne pepper?

White pepper tastes similar to black pepper, but you can use
less, because it's usually ground smaller, so it's a bit hotter.
And if you want your pepper to be nearly invisible in white
or light foods, white pepper is great for that too. White pep-
per is also a nice substitute for black pepper if you get a lot
of kidney stones. The only disadvantage to white pepper is
it's more expensive.

Cayenne pepper is even hotter than white pepper. I use cay-
enne pepper in recipes that are red or spicy, and I use it
sparingly. For example, if I make a pot of chili I'll only use
1/8 teaspoon, because that's how powerful it is.

Here's an example of how I would measure each ground
pepper depending on which one I wanted to use. Let's
pretend I'm making another pot of chili:

*black pepper        1/2 teaspoon
                        or
*white pepper        1/4 teaspoon
                        or
*cayenne pepper    1/8 teaspoon

Lane Bryant is Saving Lives

I saw Lane Bryant's sign on the door and my first thought was, Lane Bryant
is saving lives. When you go into a business you want to feel safe, but
shouldn't the people working there feel safe too? It's not right that people
without masks are allowed to go into businesses, and spread deadly germs.
I don't understand how a business can expect their employees to willingly
put their lives at risk for no reason at all. If the customers can be protected,
why can't employees be protected too? As a business, do you really want
people coming in and making your employees sick?

Any business that doesn't require a face covering is greedy, disgusting, and
uncaring. Lane Bryant, thank you for saving lives.

Poisonous Products

I know I write about chemicals a lot, but I find it appalling that so many
items we use are potentially harmful to our health. I'm constantly seeing
more products with the California Proposition 65 warning label on them.
WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of
California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive
harm.

I try to avoid any product that has this label on it, but it's getting harder
to avoid. So far I've seen this label on...game systems, cellphones, back-
packs, jewelry, watches, microwaves, cellphone cases, eye glasses, shoes,
curling irons, cameras, gingerbread houses, electrical tape, and purses!

I don't understand why our government is allowing us to be poisoned.
How can we be healthy if we are constantly using products that are hurting
our health?

You have to thoroughly read everything before you buy it. Read the package
from top to bottom, because sometimes the warning is on the bottom of the
package. These corrupt companies aren't gonna protect you; you have to
protect yourself.
