Regardless of What Some Say, You Should Floss Anyway

I'm sure you heard about the study that was done on dental floss and how it
isn't necessary. I don't care what the study says, because I know that flossing
is an important part of oral health.

I admit it, I didn't begin flossing until I was about 20. It seemed pointless,
annoying, and it hurt to floss. But this is what changed me... I read an article
where a dentist said, "Only floss between the teeth you want to keep." That
was all it took. I've been flossing ever since.

Now, for all the people that still don't believe in floss, or you think it hurts,
try this: Buy one of the floss brands that I use. Both of them are comfortable
to floss with, and you won't believe how much food you'll get out of your
teeth. Kroger makes a good floss called Extra Comfort Floss, and Oral-B
Glide Pro-Health Comfort Plus Floss is another one you could try. Happy

Although genetic engineering has been around for quite awhile, it was kind
of strange reading a message about it on a package of cookies I had bought.
I'm a certified nerd, so I've been reading entire packages for a long time. I
find packaging a bit fascinating, especially the back of a package. The back
is where most of the secrets are: the fine print...the ingredients...the country
a product was made in. Now I get to read whether the item I purchased was
produced with genetic engineering.

Mold Inside of My Onion

I've been chopping onions for years, but I'd never seen this. There were
small, almost unnoticeable specks of mold, weaved within the layers of
my onion. Since mold can make people sick, I threw my moldy perfectly
cut onion away.

Part of me felt like I had wasted my time cutting that nasty onion, but I'm
happy that I hadn't consumed it. Although a little mold on the outer layers
of an onion is normal, mold within the layers of an onion is not normal.
You should never eat an onion that is molded inside.

In my onion that was white.

It didn't take me long
To realize something wasn't right.

Nasty mold was in my onion
And I didn't have a doubt.

There's no way that I could eat it,
So I had to toss it out.
 

Is Your Price Tag Sticking Out?

Over the past week, I've told two women that their price tags were sticking
out. The first lady was nicely dressed, scarf and everything, but one item
wasn't working...the price tag that was hanging freely off the collar of her
shirt. The second woman had on a long cute lacy coverup and there it was,
her price tag showing through all that lace. It felt strange telling complete
strangers about their tags, but they both thanked me for telling them.

A similar thing happened to me too, but the difference is nobody said a
word. I wore a brand new shirt to work and no one told me that I had the
size sticker still stuck to the front of my shirt.

The next time you wear something new, make sure you've removed the
price tag. And if you see someone with their price tag showing, be nice
and let them know.

and I didn't put it there.
What idiot threw it down?
I guess the person didn't care.

There's a cookie box in my driveway.
I hoped that it would blow away.
Making the neighborhood look trashy...
It's been lying there all day.

Look at the cookie box in my driveway.
Now it's wet and muddy too.
The jerk should've used a garbage can.
There's only one thing left to do...
